Youth Policy

• Escape ARTfest Inc is committed to the involvement of young people within the festival and offers various opportunities for youth to participate and be recognised.

We also value the extreme commitment by all involved and for this reason:

• All minors must be accompanied to and supervised at festival events by an adult Guardian.
• It is the responsibility of the Guardian to ensure that all youth accompanying them at festival events behave in an appropriate manner and do not tamper with or damage art works in any way. This includes climbing on sculptures.
• Guardians will be liable for any damage caused to sculptures or other artworks by minors under their supervision.
• Escape ARTfest Inc, artists and venues will not be responsible for any injury caused to a minor who does not comply with the above.
• If a minor is attending a workshop or event associated with the festival they will be expected to behave in an appropriate and safe manner. If not, the guardian will be called and must remove that minor from the activity.
• If a fee has been paid in the above case, the fee will not be refunded.
• It is the responsibility of the guardian to ensure the safety of the minor at all times.
• Guardians will be asked to leave contact telephone numbers for minors left at workshops or other events.
