Volunteers are always welcome

Each year the Escape ArtFest relies heavily on the generosity of locals to help organise and manage the wonderful selection of events on offer.

From the hard-working core committee who make the whole festival come together, to the many individuals who help in so many other ways... these people are the lifeblood of the festival and without them ArtFest would not exist.

We could always do with more helpers. If you think you could offer a hand, in even a small way, we would love to hear from you. Volunteers are especially needed to help fund raise, run community art projects, organise workshops & other events, market the festival, etc... as they say, 'many hands make light work!'

If you wish to help in any of the following ways please contact Festival Coordinator Julie Sydenham.

• help man the ArtFest merchandise stall

• sell raffle tickets

• help set up/pack up at public events

• distributing information

• offering your services or creative skills at public events

• supervising the exhibition of arts prizes during the festival

• baking for theatre shows

• helping with the bar at shows (must have RSA)

• cutting out wooden shapes for painting

• painting props
